This is MOJO, a band about the age we are entering. We are coming out of Central Kentucky in the upper South.  Once again, America treks into a future of FAITH and TRIBE after a long sojourn in the desert of pale banality.  Our music is a collection of originals in our MOJO sound (macho rock and introspective ballads), turbo-charged classic blues rock, and a more exotic touch of "rocked up" international songs of the Roma, Slavs, Irish, Italians, etc.  We are currently in the studio working on our second album and a touring schedule.

We grew up on Southern Rock (we called it "Country Rock"), Zeppelin, Kiss, Foreigner, the Stones, Pearl Jam, the Crowes, Jet, G&R, etc. Now we have found our own sound.  Our lead singer/guitarist comes from the legal world.  Our drummer has just done music as long as he can remember.  And our bass player is a former academic (who doesn't like to encourage that kind of behavior). So, we got together for this Great Adventure.   

We stand out from many bands in that we have all had lives and careers so that we have no insecurity regarding our popularity.  Take it or leave it, it's up to you.  Our bills are covered. We can be social critics, but not "progressive".  We can generate raw, adrenaline filled rock, unapologetically.  And we can spin the most touching ballads about the pathos and joy of life, telling it straight.

Currently, we're in the studio recording and looking at where to appear when we introduce our new album.
